    December Dates
    - On Thursday, December 2nd, please join us virtually for our Pauma School Site Council and District Advisory Committee Meeting (Agenda - Click Here) and our  ELAC/DELAC/Migrant Meeting (Agenda - Click Here)

    - Tuesday, December 7th is our next Early Release Day. School will begin at 8:00 am and end at 12:00pm on December 7th.

    • November 3 is the first Parenting Class in Spanish with Dr. Villareal. The classes will be Wednesdays at 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The workshop will be presented on Zoom and in Spanish only. Please see the flyer for the topics and dates.

    Lions Free Glasses

    • There will be free vision screening and glasses on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 8:00am. A licensed doctor will provide an eye health assessment and if necessary, free recycled eyeglasses! All are welcome, especially children and those with financial hardship. These screenings will be held in locations across southern California and northern Mexico. The Ramona event will be the closest and one of the earliest, but check https://clfis.info/free-vision-screening/ for other options and more information about these screenings.     About Our School

    Thank you for visiting our website!  Pauma School is a rural TK-8 school in northeast San Diego County with an enrollment of 220 students.  We are committed to academic excellence in a safe, caring community.  Our goals include increasing academic achievement and to increase parent involvement. Teachers are able to address the individual needs of students as a result of these efforts through Response to Intervention and implementation of intervention strategies.

    This dedicated and supportive staff has worked to increase student achievement.  In addition to a well-rounded curriculum that meets all state standards, we offer physical education, technology instruction, music, and an athletic program to include golf instruction with an award winning golf facility.  We have an after-school program with a focus on academics, athletics, and the arts.  Our students are provided with many wonderful learning opportunities through our library, cutting edge classroom technology, field trips, focus classes, character programs, student assemblies, and family learning events.  These activities help enrich our students’ lives and improve their knowledge and skills.
