    Please make time to read something for 20 minutes a day (books, magazines, comics, recipes, cereal boxes, travel brochures, ...anything!). Write out some math facts or practice with some flashcards. The learning should never stop! (Also, your Clever badge/Google login works on your mobile devices for Lexia reading, Zearn math, IXL, and other programs.)

    The 'Bobcat Readers' program is available for you to choose some free books on June 21, July 5, July 19, August 2, August 16 from 11am-1pm at the Pauma Community Center.

    Congratulations to our 8th grade students that were promoted to high school. We are so proud!

    We hope you all have a happy and safe summer break! Thank you to our Pauma students and families for a wonderful year. We will see you back at school for our first day on Thursday, August 25, 2022.


    - All iPads must be turned in by Friday, June 10th. Please make sure to bring in your iPad, iPad case, iPad charging block, and iPad charging cord. (The charging cord is $15 and charging block is $20 if you need to replace it.)

    - We are having our school-wide end of the year celebration with Water/Beach Day on Monday, June 13th. In order for your child to participate, they will need a signed permission slip and are required to wear dark clothing and bring a towel. Parents/guardians, please know that they will get wet by participating in water activities. It will be a fun day sponsored by our AMAZING TPC. Your student will be taking home the permission slip this week, but click here for an extra copy.

    - Tuesday, June 14th is a minimum day. Dismissal is at 12:00pm.

    - Wednesday, June 15th is the last day of school. Dismissal is at 12:00pm.

    About Our School

    Thank you for visiting our website!  Pauma School is a rural TK-8 school in northeast San Diego County with an enrollment of 220 students.  We are committed to academic excellence in a safe, caring community.  Our goals include increasing academic achievement and to increase parent involvement. Teachers are able to address the individual needs of students as a result of these efforts through Response to Intervention and implementation of intervention strategies.

    This dedicated and supportive staff has worked to increase student achievement.  In addition to a well-rounded curriculum that meets all state standards, we offer physical education, technology instruction, music, and an athletic program to include golf instruction with an award winning golf facility.  We have an after-school program with a focus on academics, athletics, and the arts.  Our students are provided with many wonderful learning opportunities through our library, cutting edge classroom technology, field trips, focus classes, character programs, student assemblies, and family learning events.  These activities help enrich our students’ lives and improve their knowledge and skills.
